Tatanisha Funches, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner | Founder of VirtualHealth 78 & Wellness Center
Tatanisha Funches is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of VirtualHealth 78 & Wellness Center. With more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, she is committed to providing compassionate, personalized, and accessible healthcare to adults throughout the community.
Tatanisha believes that quality healthcare begins with listening. Her approach is centered on taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns, medical history, lifestyle, and personal health goals. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she works collaboratively with her patients to develop individualized treatment plans that are realistic and focused on long-term health.
At VirtualHealth 78 & Wellness Center, Tatanisha provides primary and preventive care, chronic disease management, weight management, acute and sick visits, women’s health, men’s health, medication management, mental health support, wellness services, and telehealth care.
She has a particular passion for helping patients manage conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and obesity, while emphasizing prevention and early intervention. She also understands that weight management is about much more than a number on the scale. Her goal is to help patients improve their overall health through medical guidance, lifestyle changes, appropriate treatment options, and ongoing support.
Tatanisha strives to create an environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and discussing their health without feeling rushed or judged. Patient education is an important part of her practice because she believes patients should understand their health conditions, medications, and treatment options so they can actively participate in their healthcare decisions.
Her mission in establishing VirtualHealth 78 & Wellness Center is simple: to provide accessible, respectful, patient-centered healthcare while building lasting relationships with the individuals she serves.
